Bhubaneswar: On Tuesday, the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) in Odisha announced new appointments for its student and youth organizations.
Ipsita Sahu has been designated as the president of the Biju Chhatra Janata Dal (BCJD), as per an official order from BJD president Naveen Patnaik.
Debesh Acharya will serve as the senior general secretary for student affairs within BCJD, while Debi Ranjan Tripathy, Subhasis Khuntia, and Souvic Biswal have been appointed as general secretaries for student affairs.
Chinmaya Sahu has taken on the role of president for the Biju Yuba Janata Dal (BYJD).
Byomakesh Ray has been appointed as the senior general secretary for youth affairs in BYJD, with Rajendra Kumar Sahoo, Amaresh Patri, and Sanjit Mohanty filling the positions of general secretaries for youth affairs.
Following their appointments, Ipsita and Chinmaya met with Patnaik to receive his blessings.
